What is academic & vocational coaching ?
Our coaching aims to assist middle and high school students who find it challenging to plan their professional futures. Through this coaching, students will gain a deeper understanding of themselves and identify the educational paths and careers that align best with their skills and interests.
This service primarily supports high school students and others who need to select specialty subjects, determine their post-graduate direction, or consider reorientation during their studies. It involves a collaborative effort, requiring the student’s commitment to actively participate and seek solutions. The coach aids this process by providing essential tools and support to help the student succeed.
Why should I contact a coach ?
Finding your path isn't always easy. Many students feel overwhelmed by the plethora of options, some are paralyzed by the fear of making the wrong choice, while others limit themselves due to self-doubt.
Coaching can play a crucial role in guiding them through this process. With a deeper understanding of their personal preferences, strengths, and aspirations, coaching helps individuals gain clarity in their decisions about education and future careers. This enhanced self-awareness enables them to navigate their choices with greater confidence and direction.
How does vocational coaching work ?
The coach initially employs tools and tests to enhance the student's self-awareness. This foundational step ensures that the subsequent selection of educational paths and professional environments is based on clear and deliberate grounds.
The goal of this process is not to dictate a specific path or to label the individual. Instead, it aims to broaden the range of possibilities, empowering students to make well-informed decisions with confidence.
Step 1
30-minute free phone call to explain the situation and the needs.
Step 2
5 to 6 individual coaching sessions, with personal work to be done by the student between each session in order to move forward more effectively.
Step 3
Final session and a summary report of the work carried out with the conclusion of the training and/or career recommendations envisaged at the end of the coaching.

Common situations
I hesitate between 2 options and can't make up my mind.
I don't know which studies to choose after high school.
I have no idea of what I want to do.
I don't have any particular passions.
I am not sure I am up to the standard.
I'm afraid of not making the right decision.
I don't know if I could handle the amount of work required.

Roles in the relationship
Sometimes the roles in the relationship can be unequally distributed, or even realized in the first place, leading to built-up tension and unhappiness.
In couple counseling, we work to understand how and why both parties view the different roles, and how it affects the relationship overall.

Beliefs and values
Oftentimes, the beliefs and values people have stem from their childhood and past experiences, and when they don't align within the relationship, miscommunication can happen.
Together with a therapist, couples can work towards gaining a clear perspective into each others' beliefs and values.

TESTIMONIALS
"Manel has been working with two of my children, aged 17 and 10. From the very first session, I noticed a shift in their awareness and a newfound energy — most importantly, they were eager to see Manel again soon to continue exploring how each of them functions individually. The subsequent sessions have truly empowered them, boosting their self-confidence and improving how they organize their schoolwork and assignments. Manel provides them with practical tools, but what impressed me most about this coaching is that both of my daughters have found a sense of calm; their stress and apprehension regarding exams or tests have completely vanished." — P., mother of children in 5th grade (CM2) and 11th grade (1ère).
"We contacted Manel to help our daughter, who is in the ninth grade (3ème). Her attentive listening, patience, and excellent teaching skills enabled our daughter to make steady, stress-free progress. Manel was able to identify her specific needs, build her self-confidence, and provide her with effective methods to become more independent, better organized, and more skilled at managing her time. Thanks to Manel’s supportive and personalized approach, our daughter has developed good study habits and gained greater confidence in her own abilities." — C., mother of an 9th-grade student.
"I’d like to share with you what my daughter said after her dance performance last Thursday. She went on stage in front of a large audience. After the show, she stepped of the stage and her first thought was for you. She told me: ‘If it weren’t for the work I did with Manel last year, I never would have been able to pull this off.’” – L., mother of 2 students in 7th and 9th grade.
"Thanks to Manel, our child has regained self-confidence and a genuine motivation to learn. Her caring approach, patience, and ability to tailor her methods to each student's specific needs make all the difference. She knows how to create a reassuring environment while fostering both rigor and autonomy. The progress is clear — academically and personally. I am very grateful for her dedication and professionalism! 🙌🎯📚 She is truly committed to our children's motivation! I recommend her 200%." — K., mother of an 8th-grade student.
